AmSafe Bridport Cyclone Ditwah Community Project

We believe our operations don’t exist in isolation. When Cyclone Ditwa hit the communities in the Badulla District, our team in Sri Lanka decided to do something profound.

In a powerful display of solidarity, our employees voluntarily chose to cancel their annual year-end celebration, redirecting those funds to a local school, Kalugahakandura Maha Vidyalaya. This initiative provided:

  • A Reverse Osmosis (RO) purification plant (1,200L/day capacity) with a self-funding model to ensure the community has safe water for years to come.
  • A new ICT unit equipped with 7 computers, giving 200+ students the practical digital skills they need for their future.

We are so proud to be part of a global team that puts community above all else.
